About
This project is a creative exploration of the halftone technique — a visual style that uses dots to simulate gradients, shadows, and depth. Inspired by classic comic books, vintage print ads, and retro pop art, I aimed to modernize the halftone effect while retaining its nostalgic charm.
Using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I experimented with different scales, color overlays, and dot densities to create a series of dynamic compositions. Each piece balances structure and randomness, celebrating the imperfections that make traditional print aesthetics so compelling.
The project allowed me to dive deeper into understanding how minimal visual elements — simple dots — can create rich, textured worlds when thoughtfully composed. It’s a tribute to the timeless beauty of analog print, reimagined for the digital era.
